FC
HelloBit of a long shot but can anyone recommend a local relationship counsellor please? My husband and I are having a sticky patch and I'm not sure either of us can dig ourselves out of it without impartial advice. I'd much rather go to someone who had been directly recommended than enter the unknown world of Relate or BACP. Ideally, I'd like a counsellor who knows about depression too. Many thanksF Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23033-relationship-therapist-recommendation/ Share on other sites

Bellenden Belle
Another vote for Roz. I have seen her both as an individual and in a couple. She's warm and practical yet challenging. And has been practising for more than a decade. QueenMab
Another vote for Roz. She's frankly performed miracles with me and my partner. I went to her on the basis of a recommendation here and would heartily recommend her as a couples counsellor to anyone else experiencing relationship problems. If she can help us, she can probably help anyone. ianr
Incidentally, I see there's a couples counsellor doing research on strategies for dealing with the "feeling that a relationship has ?lost its spark?, who's looking for participants in the study: see http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,1851911. Gesundheit
As well as the recommendations you've had, have a listen to Esther Perel (YouTube, podcasts)- whether you're struggling or not she has a brilliant way of talking about relationships, communication and all the other things that go into making it work.
