I'm fairly new to the East Dulwich area and I'd like to play badminton.


Where do you play?


Does anyone play in the evening midweek as well as the usual Saturday mornings?


Does anyone 'double-up' and play table tennis as well?


Sorry - it's all questions at this stage!!

Heya, yes - our next session (15/08) is booked - 10am - 12pm. We had fun - we embraced the new rules and used the feathers sucessfully. We had to share a court with the Jonathan & Jane group for the second hour though, as we'd been double booked for the second hour of ours, but it was fine!

We play at Camberwell Leisure Centre on Artichoke Place

2 hours - usually between 4 - 6 players

We've not managed a midweek but there is always people wanting to play.

Not sure about table tennis come along next week

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I can't make this Saturday, which is why I was asking about midweek games. I should be able to make next Saturday morning, though.


Is Camberwell Leisure Centre good then? I've seen people playing badminton at the Fusion leisure centre next to the Harris Girls Academy opposite Peckham Rye Park, but not been to Camberwell Leisure Centre before.

      If it's your Wi-Fi that was the problem, that's more likely the router (or the device you were using), not the actual service coming into the router.  I am with plusnet, and whenever mind has been glitchy, I check with a device connected via ethernet cable to the router to see if that is okay.  I've been with them for potentially 15 years now and each time there has been an issue (not many and not plusnets fault, more the infrastructure) I have looked elsewhere, but everyone moans about their providers at some point!  Some more than others.  I often feel it's better the devil you know!

      I needed someone to fit a new bathroom tap at short notice and Lucasz was on-time, quick and did a great job. No fuss and no mess - will definitely have more jobs for him.

      I have a warning from EE that they're undertaking work locally to me, I'm assuming the south end of Underhill, over the next 5 days so there may be a temporary reduction in service. Otherwise it's fine. In case you suddenly hear adverse comments, problems may only be short lived.

      For those of us in Forest Hill this is great news.  As well as a better connection to Clapham, a quicker route to Catford is very welcome, as we often use Catford stations a lot for the Thameslink and to go down to Bromley and Beckenham. A stop in Brixton would be welcome.  Yes we have the P4.  But have you ever used the P4?
