Hi there,

I'm interested in starting up playing again and I was just wondering about the rough standard at your club - a friend of mine would also like to play on a casual basis. And is there any room for manoeuvre on the times for the midweek session? It's just that I don't finish work until 6pm, and I work in town, so I'd only be able to get there for 7pm at the earliest.

And aside the "pay as you play", are there any other fees?

Cheers,

David

Court Booked For Monday 18:30 - 19:30 let me know if you can make it attendees so far are

Hannah

Sam C

When booking this court it turns out that Harris Sports Centre will no longer be part of the Fusion Group, and will be going to a manual system. I expect there to be teething problems.

I should be able to make Monday. Depends on where I am that day.

I have no car at the moment, by the way. I got trapped in Oxfordshire on Tuesday because of the snow and had to abandon the car, stay overnight in a nearby hotel, and then come home by train the next day. So the car is currently parked outside a hotel in the Cotswolds under a foot of frozen snow and will remain there until the snow begins to melt!

Sam.

So I guess it's a lift for you on Saturday then :-)

    • There was something to do a with a gate in the Brockwell case, I can't recall the detail, but the council removed a gate, which had been gifted in trust to the park, so the festival builders could allow access, or something. And that was illegal and that's what enabled Rylance et al to litigate.
    • How long is the Gala, and potential new event, disruption….this could be key from the article on the High Court challenge against Lambeth…   Under permitted development rules, a temporary change of use is allowed for a total of 28 days each calendar year, but the Brockwell Park festivals run over 37 days and were due to begin on 23 May.
    • Try the castle upstairs, you'd need to buy a few drinks in return.  @Suecan you advise?  It will be in use some Mondays no doubt
    • Yes, I was bemused to see that notice in Barry Road. It seemed a strange place to be having a drop off point.
