I haven't been but I've been caught up in the traffic it caused. An hours wait for a 176 on Charing Cross road (only had bus tickets that day - don't ask) and then 45 minutes to go around Trafalgar Square with a bus driver that wouldn't let one off.

Avoid the area unless you want to go to the Festival.

the guy organising this thing is a really nice bloke. But he was running late for the interview and the American guy had turned up early for his slot... but not everyone had picked up what was going on, and hey the America guy looked Russian (he really does) so they started to introduce him as the organiser of the Russian festival. His face was a picture

Cassius - bad luck. I've been there on more than one occassion. No use to you now, I know but that whole Oxford St to Waterloo section takes so long even on a good day, if I have any zip about me at all I'll walk the couple of hundred yards to Somerset house - it might save time or it might take a bit longer depending, but stress levels are decimated

    • Dog kennel isn't a great name for a school. I agree that it's ridiculous for the name to put anyone off going there, but don't see any issue with them rebranding if the parents and children prefer a new name. The school is surrounded by historical 'groves' (reflected in the names of Camberwell Grove, Grove park and Grove Vale for example), so it's not a totally random name.
    • It might help if there are body cams to record evidence and a presence maybe a deterrent but I very much doubt a park warden would intervene with obnoxious and violent thugs - children or not. We need police for that.
    • I had a leaky toilet cistern and Niko came out the same day and not only fixed the leak but thoroughly cleaned off the years of calcium build-up. His attention to detail was matched by his kind humanity. The result was a completely renovated toilet which has never worked more efficiently as well as 'service with a smile'. MANY THANKS NIKO!!!
    • I am trying to find out about people's experiences of the 4+ and 7+ assessments. I am a teacher and have a wealth of experience tutoring for theses assessments (including my own son), but it's always good to keep on top of things as they always make tweaks to them. TIA!
