I had a Latin teacher who never really taught us any Latin but just waffled on about Greek and Roman mythology.

I loved his classes but didn?t do very well in my Latin exams.

I had a Latin teacher who kept telling us (in a Girls Grammar School) that girls didn't have logical enough brains to do Latin. so I let my father do my Latin homework for me and my marks dropped substantially.
