Very heartfelt thanks and full recommendation for Richard (07984146615). We've now known him for 18 months and he has recently decorated to a high quality finish, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom for us. Great workmanship and goes extra mile to get things just right. Totally trust worthy and will definitely use him the future. Thanks Richard - Ruth and Zain

Another recommendation for Richard (07984146615). Richard has just finished a tricky hallway, stairs and landing and has done a great job. Totally trust worthy - he did the job whilst we were away on holiday. Great attention to detail and finish - has the approval of my now retired parents who used to run a decorating business - high praise!

And here is another unreserved recommendation for Richard. He's a very friendly fella. Very profession and skilled at what he does with a keen eye to detail. And reasonably priced for the standard of work delivered.

i'm also very happy to recommend Richard who is painting my kitchen extension at present. He's really pleasant to deal with and always responds quickly to messages and is very thorough with his work. I'll certainly use him again if I need any more decorating doing. Neil

Another glowing recommendation for Richard. He painted our reception room, hallway, kitchen and bedrooms to a very high standard and at a very fair pric). In addition to being very good at his job, he is honest, strait-forward, respectful, attentive, funny and a pleasure to have around the house. Now that he's gone, I feel we need a cardboard cut-out of him to fill the void! ;)

Thank you, Richard!

A recommendation for Richard. He got me out of a very sticky situation last week when I needed some decorating done urgently, before Christmas. Richard managed to fit me in during the evenings, leaving another job to come to my house and paint my dining room before my family arrive. He worked effficantly with minimal mess and disturbances. The room was finished to a very high standard, I?m very impressed with the outcome. I don?t know what we would have done without Richard and his quick work.

This is the second time Richard has come to do some work for me and he has been absolutely amazing. He has carefully repaired the damage done to our ceiling by a bathroom leak and the place looks better than new! He is polite and a perfectionist - keen to make sure that the work is absolutely flawless. Big recommendation for Richard.

Richard did a great job with us - complete interior re-decoration patching, sanding and painting. Very tidy and accommodating, even offering to re-touch areas subsequently dinged by additional tradesmen being less than careful with the new paintwork! highly recommended

Another recommendation for Richard - he?s just finished repainting our flat to a really high standard. Not the most straightforward of jobs - new plaster throughout and the previous owner left us with more than a few holes in the walls, but Richard took it all in his stride and we?re really happy with the job. He even touched up one of the rooms after a leak from the flat above and has left us with a flat we?re really proud of! Excellent standard of work and always leaves everything clean and tidy - wouldn?t hesitate to use again.

A recommendation for Richard, he has just redecorated two bedrooms and a bathroom in my house.

Very high standard of work, very clean and tidy, and finished on time.

Hardly knew he was there, made something that could be disruptive very easy and simple!

Everything back in place when I came home from work!

Would highly recommend!

Another recommendation for Richard. He has just completed a repaint of our bathroom after some rather shoddy workmanship from another company. As always his work is of an excellent standard, he?s clean tidy and very efficient. I highly recommend him for any painting jobs you need.

Thanks again Richard!

Richard very recently painted our front door, fireplaces, touched up and repainted alcove shelves and cabinets, all to a very high std. He kept to the advised timeframes, was very neat and tidy, and very easy to engage with. I highly recommend him.

    • Southwark and Lambeth may have some spaces but this is not the case of other London boroughs nearby particularly at secondary level. Also this is not just a London issue. There are many regions throughout the UK that have no school places available (eg Kent due to new housing developments, rural areas, Surrey, Guildford, Edinburgh etc). Just because you feel it doesn’t affect you, does not mean it’s right.  You also need to consider the proportion of foreign students in many of the private schools in the area which distorts the impression that local people can pay private school fees and suck up an additional £4-5k per child and per year. And sadly, the psychological and emotional impact on children is not even being discussed.
    • Step in a child’s shoes just for one moment and think what it would be like to have to move schools in the middle of the year away from your friends, teachers, community etc. due to a political stunt. I doubt the money will even go into education. The UK will be become the only European country to tax education. Primary schools have some capacity where I live but I have enquired and there are currently no places for secondary school where I live. Again, so easy to be smug and say we should have pre planned a potential outcome 5 years ago when you live in your £2-3m homes next to the best state schools in Dulwich (like Keir Starmer!)
    • Please let me know if anyone is selling a Hemnes daybed in the near future. Thanks
    • Birth rate collapses sounds a bit like Armageddon.  It's a mixture of a decline following a bulge, where many schools had to increase intake, and families moving out of the capital due to high cost of housing.  Now that is an irony, that only wealthy families, many who can afford private schooling, can afford to live in many parts of London.
