Help me find a venue for a community course

Hi everyone!

I'm a resident of East Dulwich and work for a charity called Action for Happiness.

Another local resident and I are very keen to volunteer to host the Exploring What Matters course for our ED community. It entails 2h of meeting on an a week-day evening (7-9pm for example) for 8 consecutive weeks. We aim to start around the beginning of January 2020.

We tried to find a venue to make it happen this Autumn but weren't successful. Does anybody have an exotic idea of a suitable sounding venue we may not have thought of? Cheap and cheerful is what we're after :)

The Albrighton Centre have different size meeting/function rooms.

The Herne Tavern has a separate space in their garden - could be worth a go?

Christ Church in Barry Road also hire out space. Talk with Elaine in the Bread of Life Caf? who will be able to advise on costs and availability.

You could try the community room at Dawson Heights it's free most days/ evenings

St. Barnabas Parish Hall in Dulwich Village has a reasonable hourly hire rate.

Not sure it's within budget but Space @ 61 in Nunhead is also worth a try.
