Requires a mixer I believe? Far too sophisticated for me.....crap sherry is just sugared alcohol. I've genuienely quite enjoyed it but must retire before i go for another "Schooner"

Well might you be ashamed. I mean, you could at least get a nice Amontillado or Oloroso. But Bristol Cream? Ugh.

Ah this has made me properly belly laugh




Otta, I feel your pain. I've pretty much given up the drink (bar about 4 days a month)


So of course I did all of them in a row and found myself on the sofa (nearly naked) the other week


And so dehydrated, I had a tongue like a fox's tail

      Oh ok, I've looked at it again and I agree I misread it.  You are right. I hadn't realised there were two separate parks. I just looked on a map. I have only been to the smaller one, with the pond.

      There is a huge area, near Telegraph Hill which is public space… park.. decent distance between houses and park as well. Well, none of my business.. certainly can’t think of any think worse than thousands of people jammed into  space, using hedges and rest of park as free urinals, really strange that they use that section as opposed to, guess you would call it open area ie no railings…

      @Sue I think there was only 1 free day in the 7 day event GALA were asking for, that was the third day, after the first weekend. I think the second weekend was meant to be paid for access. I agree, the free Horniman music events are great but have nowhere near the same impact as GALA.
