Urgent! Venue required for 1st birthday party for about 30 people

Hi, clutching at straws here, but does anyone know of a venue around Nunhead/Peckham/Dulwich that would be available to hire this Saturday for our daughter's first birthday party? We were aiming for a picnic in the park, but the weather forecast does not look promising so are trying to frantically scrape together a plan B...

Ideally it would be somewhere that we could bring our own food and drink, but otherwise places offering reasonably priced catering would be fine.

There will just be about 20-30 people including a few babies/toddlers.

You could try using the band stand in Myatts Fields Park if you still want outdoor but covered over - there was a great children's party going on last Sat...

We used the Francis Peek Centre in Dulwich Park - it was v relaxed, good value and we could do everything ourselves.

Brenchley Gardens and Rye Hill both have TRA Halls, also Buchan Hall in Nunhead. The Old Nun's Head has a function room, as mentioned above, however it is upstairs(thinking lots of buggies?).

Buchan Hall on Buchan Road(off Kimberley Avenue at the top near Nunhead BR station) in Nunhead is great for parties. We used it a lot when my daughter was little. It is big, bright and spacious and has a kitchen etc
