bluesuperted
Poor man! Have you tried contacting his service provider on his behalf (with his blessing of course)? Maybe they could reposition his dish/receiver? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24329--/#findComment-557880 Share on other sites

DJKillaQueen
LOL and just how can a bush block a satellite signal? Do not feed the ......... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24329--/#findComment-557908 Share on other sites
Sue
Extract from:http://www.ehow.com/how_4531069_align-satellite-dish-meter.htmlClear the area of any obstacles. Objects must not interrupt the signal from the satellites to the dish. Remove any branches, bushes or other obstructions blocking the satellite dish, or move it to another place. The signal comes down at a 50-degree angle from the sky, so be certain to inspect the area within this space.ETA: Could you post a note through his neighbour's letterbox explaining the situation and saying that if they do not trim the bushes by a certain date (giving them reasonable notice) then you will arrange for it to be done? Or words to that effect? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24329--/#findComment-557914 Share on other sites

Chippy Minton
My signal stopped working a few weeks ago. I had to get an engineer out who said the problem was "more leaves had grown on a nearby tree." He moved the dish and it worked again. I had to pay ?65 but Sky gave me compensation in the form of reducing my monthly bill for the next six months.
