giggirl
Anyone know where I can download a free PDF splitter from? I don't want to spend money. Thank you. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24363-pdf-splitter/ Share on other sites
Otta
Not tried any, but a google search for free pdf splitter seems to have lots of results. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24363-pdf-splitter/#findComment-558316 Share on other sites
giggirl
Not really Otta - they make out that they're free but they aren't genuinely free. They let you download the software and test them then they ask for money. They only tell you it's a demo once you've downloaded. If I'm going to have to pay for something then I'd rather pay for Adobe writer and then at least have a bit of software that I can use for other things. Jeremy
And a lot of the time, these free trial versions "watermark" the output. Hmph. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24363-pdf-splitter/#findComment-558318 Share on other sites
giggirl
Yes you're right. I downloaded a so-called free PDF splitter and it put "sample" in big letters over everything. Fekkers. Otta
Fair enough, I've downloaded quite a few useful free things like video or sound splitters, that have been genuinely free, but never used this sort of thing. right-clicking
Adobe provide an on-line acrobat for manipulating PDF'shttps://www.acrobat.com/createpdf/en/features.html Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24363-pdf-splitter/#findComment-558350 Share on other sites
Undisputedtruth
Be careful out when downloading software. There are plenty of dodgy software where you could easily download malwares, trojans, adwares and other malicious stuff.Anyone who download any sort of software without verifying its authenticity or integrity is asking for trouble.Acrobat and pdfsam should be safe as they're both well known. Personally I use Paperport, which is not free, for appending and splitting pdf. giggirl
Right-clicking (my hero) has shown me how to split PDFs by using Google Chrome Plug in PDF reader. Half an hour ago I didn't know what that was but it has now saved me a trip into town on Sunday. Three cheers for Right-clicking and thank you to everyone else who responded.
