Apologies in advance for this bit of whimsy, but it's a miserable Friday and I need cheering up. While cycling to work I've been setting some almost ED road names to well known songs. So here are are some I've come up with so far to get you started:


Underhill, Overhill Wombling Free (Wombles)


Dunstans so close to me (Police)


Marmora than a feeling (Boston)


Frogley went a courting (trad)

    • It's more likely a buzzard – one or two have been seen in recent years, particularly over Dulwich and Sydenham Woods. You don't have to go far to see them regularly – Addington, West Wickham and Biggin Hill, for instance.
    • Roll on the time  , if ever, when we adopt the Australian system whereby the agreed price becomes binding. The whole process takes place much more swiftly and with less hassle than it does here. Scotland have a good system also.
