did anyone on here go to tulse hill school.

i did for my sins, when asked about my education, my answer is "contrary to popular beleif i did have

an education - and the school was approved"

Or "education is a marvellous idea - I wish i had been given one".

Yes! I did. Or should I say occasionally, as I bunked off most of the time. I was there between '69 and '74. I walked out and told them to stick it up their arse. Terrible place. The only thing it taught me was to be street-wise.

School of hard knocks and the University of Life. That's my education. Oh! and Dulwich Hamlet Infants and Juniors. I loved it there but at Tulse Hill there were 2,000 kids there and it was really tough.

Sure I do. We'd get on the fast train to Peckham Rye going through North Dulwich station and hurl loads of stuff out of the train windows at the Billy Biro kids and then get the train back the other way and out on the opposite platform to where all the Penn kids were going back to East Dulwich, Peckham and beyond.

Yes, but his name escapes me for the moment. He was my housemaster at the time. I was in Wren house.
