wildthing
Hi - I'm new to this so hope I'm not stepping on anyones toes.I have become very overweight over the past three years and am really uncomfortable with it. I'm hoping to find other men and women with the same dilema, I know all there is to know about healthy eating and would like to start a local support group with like minded people who want to exercise and encourage others ( can't afford a trainer at the moment ) anyone interested in joining? dulwichgirl2
Probably you will get lots of pms and this is just to say well done and good luck. There is a thread on wrightwatchers in the family area of the forum. You might find it helpful. Lots of people post there about their weighing in sessions and, I think, gain from others' support and encouragement. Wishing you all the best going forward. Hi Sue -> three and a half stone !!!xxxxxxI wish you the best of luck!I had a blitz on my weight in the new year, but sadly found when I lost the weight my face just looked more wrinkly :(Another hideous downside of getting old. Somerset Maugham said that after 40 a woman had to choose between her face or her body. Today I think we can probably change that to at least 50 but the concept is sadly the same......... DJKillaQueen
Hi Wildthing...there are lot's of free fitness groups in the what's on section that meet on average once a week for low level exercise. Worth giving some of them a try. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24682-overweight-people/#findComment-563693 Share on other sites
