Carpet fitter recommendation - Jim Cox

Another huge recommendation for Jim. He helped us source carpets at great prices, fitted them quickly and brilliantly (in the heat and surrounded by other tradesmen - sorry about that Jim!). We also picked a very complex stripe on all our stairs and landing which Jim handled with ease and looks just lovely. Also, he is a lovely chap too, a pleasure to have around. Wouldn't ever use anyone else. V competitive too.
Another massive recommendation for Jim Cox!! Great guy - really helpful and brilliant to deal with. Got my carpet fitted exactly when I needed it doing. Good price and really good quality fitting. As the review above says, he's a lovely guy and very easy to have around but gets on with the job and works very hard. No hesitation at all in recommending him.

This is a huge recommendation for Jim Cox. He helped us tackle a very tricky situation of getting new underlay put in the flat upstairs to reduce impact noise. He offered excellent advice about the best underlay to put in and got the job done promptly. He is a lovely man and you should look no further than him for all your carpet needs!

Based on the above recommendations we decided to use Jim to fit a new carpet in a through lounge/dining room. Jim sourced a carpet to match the rest of the house, offered a very competitive quote, we accepted, carpet was ordered and just a week later it was all done - and brilliantly fitted. Fantastic job.

There’s also a step up into Maria’s - much smaller but you need to negotiate the step and door at the same time. Olivelli has more room and if I remember right the toilets are on the ground floor. A consideration if steps are an issue The Lordship might be an option. Noise is not usually an issue. We’ve enjoyed various meals there. The ladies toilets are on the same floor as the tables (the gents may be upstairs). The staff are always friendly
