Oh no, there goes my secret identity ;-)

Keef, I too am a Greenwich council employee (although in a school and not in glitzy HQ) and got the crazy proxy anonomizer message. I figured that my fate was sealed and didn't go back to check later in the day. I'm now really hoping that sanity will be restored when I get in tomorrow morning......

My firm is introducing a new type of web usage monitoring that will list the top most visited sites on our network. have horrible feeling that the EDF is going to be on the list as visit several times a day. The only saving grace is that I will most likely be the person who gets the list to review and advise management on the results of the monitoring. Maybe I can come up with a legitimate reason to be lurking on here during work time?

PS I don't post from work as that is clearly against our IT usage policy.....

    • Yes, the appointments were scheduled for every ten minutes. And there is no waiting area at all this time  (sometimes for medical checks there they have a very small area inside with 3 or 4 seats). If you have come by public transport, you have to sit on the steps up to the van if you are early,  which isn't pleasant in very hot sun or pouring rain, or else wander round Asda (there's no cafe in Asda, despite it supposedly being a superstore). It's one in, one out. I don't know what happens if you are late, but I doubt they would hold up everybody who came after you in order to fit you in.  There was someone immediately before me and someone immediately after me.
    • NHS subcontractors frequently use supermarket parking areas for CT and other screening. Easy to get to and park. They've done the same at Dog Kennel Hill in the past. Makes a lot of sense. And they ram in lots of timed appointments, so time critical is precisely right.
    • Your evidence for this ridiculous remark is what, exactly? You're on a roll today, aren't you?
    • There is an NHS van in the Asda car park which is a local centre for lung cancer screenings. I'm an ex smoker (haven't smoked for decades but still at risk). My appointment was at 2pm. Any other sarcastic comments? Do feel free 🙄
