I know there are lots of local businesses delivering food having had to change business models to survive. I know that looking at the forum some of those are struggling to deliver all orders taken in a timely fashion.

If anyone wants an alternative, check out spiers salads. Full disclosure they are owned by my wife?s cousin who lives in brockley but we have ordered fruit and veg through them and its great. I know others who have as well and reviews have been very good.

They used to run salad bars in the city and like others they have had to adapt, or indeed die. They too were struggling a bit to keep up with the incredible demand but have since joined forces with a delivery company (who themselves have had to adapt from their original model delivering food to restaurants) to increase capacity to around 500 deliveries a day to south east london (inc SE22!). Monday is full but Tuesday has space.

I've used them twice now and can reccomend them. You can't choose which veg or fruit though so I ended up with some lovely looking radishes and leeks which sadly I can't eat but my neighbor was very happy to find them on her doorstep !!
