Excel Childcare - Forest Hill Road?

Hiya,

I'm looking at nurseries for my 18month old and am under some time contraints here. Appreciate it if someone could kindly advise any feedback they have on Excel, situated on Forest Hill Road?

Anyone happy/ not happy with the service they provide.....

Funny enough just read a bad review on netmums from a parent who was not happy with their meals.

I was very unimpressed when I looked round 2 years ago.

I didn't like it when I looked around it but I went to visit one of my students who was doing work experience there and while I didn't like the building I was very impressed by the staff.

My three children went there but only for the baby room.... Had several disagreements with the owners and the more recent manager. They failed 4 ofsteds in our time there and strangely we left permanently.... They do however recruit very good staff and separately we have since employed two of them, one as a nanny, one as a regular babysitter and they both left to go and work at much better local nurseries. We left over 2.5 years ago so perhaps changed but having attended meetings with the owners ( both health visitors) where they promised lots, particularly about improvements to the building that were slow to transpire or often never did...please pm as no idea if same owners etc xx
