Interesting- the reason why 'could have' etc turned, incorrectly, into 'could of' is because of the use of the contraction...'could've' which sounds like 'could of'.....anyway...sad times for everyone

Maybe the person who was stabbed was breaking and entering and the police feel the people who injured him did so in self defence and are not a threat to any other members of the public. The Southwark News report says the couple who were arrested had reported "forced entry and assault". Who knows? this is just my reading of the story.

Aren't the rules for bail completely separate to the crime committed - I forget. About likelihood to abscond or commit another offence etc.

    • Hello everyone, We have lost our wonderful moggie, Cookie.  She's been missing for over a week now and was lost around the back of our house on rail track land around Croxted Road/Turney Road junction. Please do keep an eye out for her and if you see her please let us know urgently as she isn't familiar with the area at all, we are very worried.  She has a microchip (with my brother's contact details) She's black with ginger/brown markings, very distinctive. If you have had sightings of her or seen her at anytime please let do let me know, Henna 07941 047094 If you could post on your local/street groups too, I'd be very grateful. Thank you!
