I?m nothing to do with them, but if you search in here you will find many recommendations for No Flies agency. Yes, it?s a weird name. They work from home so no high street premises. Personally ones I?ve had experience of in the past and who I?d never use again are Wooster & Stock and Ludlow Thompson. Also the one in the corner by the Goose Green roundabout. I think it?s really down to the individual you deal with there and how ethical they are.

Would be interested to hear what your experience was like. As a buyer they always came across well, and they are the agency I was considering selling through.

We bought through Wooster and Stock years ago - I?m still scarred by it! I don?t know if the person we dealt with is still there or not, which would affect things. They lied, as in made up huge fabricated lies, and tried to play us and the buyer off each other which nearly made the whole thing fall through. All got found out when we went for a viewing mid purchase to measure up and the vendor was there. They hadn?t told him and were really shocked and flustered. They had told us he was an elderly widow moving to the coast to be near his children - he turned out to be a man in his 30s who was selling to buy with his girlfriend!! I will never trust an agent again because of how appalling they were.
When I posted my comment about NoFlies on June 10th I was going by what I?d heard about them, and decided to use them to sell our house. Now that we?re within sniffing distance of exchanging contracts (yes - it really has been that quick!) I feel even more confident about recommending them.

I wouldn?t write about it on this forum, but would tell you in a conversation. I note that someone else on here also had a terrible experience. Remember that there are no exams or Legal qualifications that have to be passed in this country to call yourself an estate agent.

We sold our house through 'No Flies' and were extremely happy with the service we received. We decided to use them as agents based on positive feedback from friends. Our house was under offer within two days of a well-organised open day. They were quick at replying to emails and phone calls and kept us regularly updated with the progress of the house sale. They were far more responsive and helpful than other agents that we have used in the past. They are based in East Dulwich and know the surrounding areas inside out. No Flies are professional, efficient, and informative. I would highly recommend them!

    • I had to renew my licence - took photocopy of my current licence and also my renewal application and posted everything off. Within 10 days received my new licence. My old licence was due to run out in January so I submitted the renewal early December.
    • I cannot remember who ran/organised the original ED LETS. They had meetings at the ED Community Centre every so often. I think there were about 20 - 25 people involved.
    • That looks consistent with what I saw when I checked a few weeks ago, after someone raised a fresh thread asking about the progress.  I was about to post here asking if anyone could help with what seemed a bit of  a  mystery.  The planning register didn't show the application as decided.  I couldn't find any minutes of the committee meeting that James reported on last year, or any mention in any other minutes of the application.  The meeting was itself  flagged in the meetings schedule as MOVED (presumably to another date).   Incidentally, I remember one of the atttached planning documents being a report on the financial prospects then pertaining.  As far as I understood and remember it seemed to show the construction for sale of the buildings a ? poor prospect for the investment.  I'm no expert though.
    • Hi sue  so this year I think I fed them a tomato food but only probably three to four times in the summer  don't over water them  I put mine outdoors in about march depending on the weather as long as there's not going to be any frost and bring them back indoors September october-ish or when I think the frost is coming
