we are looking for somewhere special to have lunch with young kids near oxford street does anyone have any recommendations many thanks

we usually go to Wagamama's, i don't know if this is considered special, at the end of Selfridges, it's just so well catered for kids with kids menu, changing facilities and my very fussy 4 year old eats everything there: starter, main and desert! lots of space, opens from 12 and food is served very quickly.

I've heard great things about The Wolesely on Piccadilly for a meal with kids, if you want really special.

Go to Meat Liquor. Sounds like a terribly dodgy soho joint but is actually the best burgers of your entire life

The Wolsley is great! Not all that close of Oxford Street though. I have seen Emma Thompson in there twice!

Spaghetti house on a side st near John Lewis. Kid friendly and good food.

Had afternoon tea at the Grosvenor on Park Lane with my 2 (7 and 5 years) they do a kids Tea which involves fruit salad, ice cream and cake and they get to pilfer your sandwiches which are endlessly replenished and the kids get a cuddly toy. It was lovely.
