Just a warning re the above. My ds who is 6mnths fell out of his today. Of course he was on the floor and i was doing the washing up just beside him but the floor is tiled and hard and it gave me a fright.

I have thrown mine out and have since read the recall of this product on august 15th.

I just so wish i had seen it sooner and never bought one. He was not safe in there. He was not on a raised surface and not unattended but still wasnt safe.

He is fine, but I am very upset that this has happened, so dangerous.

Be careful and read up on the recall process if you use them.

Yes it is awful, a big shock. I have used mine on the bahroom and kitchen floor when i am in the shower, washing up, cooking etc so i have always been supervising him in it. He managed to wriggle himself out of it in a matter of seconds and fell on our tiled floor.

He is fine, he has been checked over and all is well but I was appalled that these seats are so unsafe. Granted, he is a very wriggly and active boy but even so, this should not have happened. Instructions were followed to the letter and ds is well within the recommendes weight limit.

Thank you for posting the recall notice. Mine is now in the bin, way to scared to ever useit again. Very relieved that ds got away with a little bruise as according to the recall information some babies have suffered concussion and skull fractures as a result. Horrid

Just be careful mums and dads!

Sorry for typos, on iPhone and too tired to correct them

Yup, you can order the safety belt free of charge.

My baby could get out of his bumbo from day 1, I sat and watched how he did it, was amazed that he could manage it.

I personally don't think they are inherently unsafe but the belt is a very good idea for the babies who can get out.

I def thought he would be a captive in there! I ended up getting a second activity station so he could be captive in that instead.

    • If I was on a table of two accused of eating thirty poppadoms (with pickles and chutneys) on top of curries and sides, I think I'd be inclined to say 'Yep, that was us' and ask the waiter to write off the entire bill. That is a truly heroic feat and should be recognised as such, even if you didn't actually do it.

    • I would question ‘affordable’. Fit For is £115 per month for the standard (cheapest) membership.    for comparison, the leisure centre on CPRoad is £44 per month (£37 for concessions) and JAGs sports club is £60 per month, they also have various concession or family membership offers
