Incident on Goodrich Road 6.30pm Wed 06 Feb

Does anyone know what was happening with the 4+ police cars parked across Goodrich Rd near the junction with Frien Rd? Sirens ablaze etc...

I think something must have gone on previously today as the police were apprehending 2 white males armed with wooden sticks/ clubs. Apparently when they were apprehended the 1 of males could be heard saying:

'You weren't around when the 13 black guys jumped us'.

There was alot of scuffling between the officers and the 2 whites, meanwhile a third person male, on moped/scooter/motorcycle was telling his mates to calm down.

Do you think it is time for a neighbourhood watch or the Guardian Angels!

It did seem to be caused by the big gang of kids who were causing trouble before the fight. Thirteen is a bit of an exaggeration though, it was more like eight.

I saw a no.12 bus stopped on the junction about that time with two guys standing in front of it shouting, about a minute later there was a group running down landells road shouting.
