You got to be a pretty shit or unconfident runner, whether you are a male or female if you are worried about potentially being mugged when your out at any time of day. How can someone mug you when you are running?! Surely any futile attempt would be instantaneously diminished by, dare I say it, you RUNNING AWAY?. If your any good the average mugger will not catch you. Bizarre!

Anywhere past the roundabout is a bit iffey? Which roundabout? Surely not the Goose Green one?!

We've fairly recently moved over the Denmark Hill way and have commented several times that there are fewer unsavoury types when heading to and from the station early in the morning and late at night than at ED and Peckham Rye - remember that there is always a flow of Kings' staff and more people on the street tends to make for a safer environment.

It does seem unlikely if it was at four o'clock, though.
