furryroadster
My kid has just started at school and has been using the Rainbow Club after school provision. Just found out that Rainbow Club is closing its holiday provision as they never got enough kids to make it viable.Has left me as a working Mum a bit stuck - along with a couple of other mums that use the after school club. Can anyone recommend or know of any places to send 5 year olds for good care during school holidays?Or does anyone have a nanny that would be willing to look after a couple of extra kids during the October half term break? Or any childminders out there that have space for two over this holiday?Any ideas welcome!Marissa Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26061-what-childcare-provision-is-available-in-ed-during-half-terms/ Share on other sites
KatDew
Have you looked into the JAM after school club? They provide holiday cover. I haven't used their holiday cover but I use the after school club Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26061-what-childcare-provision-is-available-in-ed-during-half-terms/#findComment-583018 Share on other sites

I was slightly anxious as they'd never been to a holiday club before, and they are quite shy girls. I don't know why I was anxious, they had the most amazing time and wanted to go every day thereafter! Their favourite activities were trampoling and the water ball/pool fun. The staff are very friendly and approachable. It was clear the children at the club adored them. We're all looking forward to spending many more fun days with the HDO team in the summer holidays. Many thanks for providing a high quality, fun club for our childrenABOUT HDOHoliday Drop Off is a great way for children to learn new sports in a fun and exciting environment. HDO believe that sport should be enjoyed by all and have created a sports camp for children between the ages of Rising 5 -14 years old.HDO is a sports camp which is taught by coaches of various sporting backgrounds, helping develop sporting techniques or simply introducing children to sports they are yet to learn.Places are limited so its best to book in advance. Scruffy Mummy
Jags Sports Centre runs football, multi-sports and now art/crafts. Our 7 year old has been going for two years to the football academy every break and loves it. Very well run. It runs from 9-3:30pm which suits us well as we are self employed and can pick up at 3:30pm.
