Here's something taken from Reuters was that was printed in today's Guardian and Telegraph.

I cannot fathom why it was necessary to use the word 'contiguous' (next in order of landmass to Australia?)

"...Australia is one of the world's most ideal places for solar projects. It has the highest average solar radiation per square metre of any continent in the world, according to government, and a population the size of New Delhi spread over an area the size of the contiguous United States..."

I blame bloody Glenn Miller - "Pennsylvania six five oh-oh-oh!"

Not to mention those long haired Liverpudlian layabouts - "My baby says she's travelling on the one after nine-oh-nine"

As for the bands I saw down the one zero one club...

    • If you can use it exclusively for yourself for 12 years it might become yours by default under squatters rights? Maybe whack a bench on it and plant some flowers and then a little hedge around the perimeter to keep people out? I'm not sure if any of this is legal but it might be fun finding out?
    • Hate to admit it but I'm a absolute sex machine🤩
    • Hello. Did you hear any further on this? Was there anyone at the council who was helpful to speak to? I am in a similar boat.
    • Dear all, Bit of a random ask but in such a supportive and accepting community, I thought I'd see if anyone had time to help 🙂 I'm conducting research for my MSc Psychology dissertation, using a brief anonymous survey to explore romantic and polyamorous relationships and how/if attitudes around this interact with factors such a family history and family making. The survey should take no longer than 10-15 mins and has been approved by the University of Roehampton. I'm hoping to circulate the survey widely enough that the data gathered is representational of the diversity in modern society across various aspects that constitutes personal identity. Some of the questions are of a personal nature and others could be considered a bit 'spicy', but just to reiterate, this is an anonymous survey.
