I want Christpher to win it now. I always thought that by the time you got to the final, you tended to have "credible" people left. I thought (hoped) the boy band would get to the final, then get eliminated and leave James & Jahmene to fight it out.

Now I suspect Christopher may well get to the last 2, and possibly even win.

I'm leaning towards Jahmene now, He is warbling less, and I like the soul stuff he's done in the last couple of weeks. Talented as James is, I'm fed up with the tortured soul pained voice, and his too cool for school demeanor.

James will do well anyway - once he gets his teeth done.

Jahmene is just a bit uncomfortable to watch. When he sings.. it's hard to describe.. but he looks like he's afraid of his own mouth.

COME ON CHRISTOPHER.. CHRISTOPHER TO WIN. I don't know for sure what a serial killer looks like just after they've claimed their umpteenth victim, but I suspect they looks rather similar to Christopher, just after he's finished a song.

Pink was great though.

I think she seemed slightly embarrassed about the whole thing, which is understandable.

She must know her limitations and - after spending god knows how many hours passing judgement on hundreds of people with better vocal abilities than herself, she must have felt like a bit of a plum. Ability of not, her voice doesn't even have a nice sound to it.

Phew, I was worried I was the only one still watching (and sad enough to then post about it on here!). Well done to both the finalists, an impressive show after weeks of dubious results. I do think James was the strongest competitor tonight.

Saturday and Sunday nights are once again my own.

*breaks out in a cold sweat*

    • Thanks for this. I appreciate your suggestion. However, I have walked to the Oxfam shop with a shopping trolley (quite light when it's empty)  load of books in the past. I have also taken a trolley load of books on the 37. Both times I came back on the 37 with an empty trolley. I'm 76 and not particularly fit. I also have a problem with my arms (golfers elbow. No I am not a golfer. Dragging weights makes this worse). To walk to Herne Hill from my home  involves dragging the trolley uphill for the first part of the walk (downhill after that). To get a trolley of books onto and off the bus is very difficult, because of its weight. I don't use my ancient car (1998) very often because it isn't ULEZ compliant, but I have come to the conclusion that this is the only way I can get another  load of books to the Oxfam shop. *Breaks down in a piteous fit of crying for her age and infirmity 🤣🤣🤣*
    • Hiya has anyone got a wheelchair that they no longer are in need of? Many thanks
    • Hi Sue, I don’t know how far you are able to walk but if you can get to the Oxfam shop you wouldn’t need to walk back to East Dulwich because the 37 bus stops outside. Some of these trolleys fold up really small snd are light enough to take on a bus (or pop in the boot of your car for that matter). They can be a practical option when transporting large/heavy loads around. Good luck!
