LondonLogCo
I've cracked my back tooth. Though luckily there's no major pain, but I can feel it coming. However, I'm not registered with a Dentist at present. Anyone been to the dental unit at Guys?I need it fixed ASAP but I'm not flush or inclined to pay an arm & leg to a private practice.Any dentists out there that would trade Logs for teeth fixing?Argh..... intexasatthe moment
At Guys emergency clinic you need to get there about 8.30 am I think .Not sure if open at weekend .Lots of dentists accept NHS patients try Mr Norton 179 Denmark Hill 0207 274 0861or East Dulwich Dental Care ,Forest Hill Rd 8 299 0240or The Gardens 8 693 4001 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26394-cracked-tooth-help/#findComment-587446 Share on other sites
BeccaL
Also dental emergency at the Royal London Hospital where (I think) you just turn up and wait. Relatively easy to get to via East London Line overground to Whitechapel... Jessie
When I needed emergency dental care Kings open doors and first come, first serve at 8.30 and if fill up allocated spaces they turn you away, but with Guys I got there 2pm-ish (up on 24th floor i think) and was seen within 15 minutes. I'd go to Guys, not Kings. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26394-cracked-tooth-help/#findComment-587450 Share on other sites
Sue
I think you need to be in pain to be seen by an emergency dental care clinic. There are several NHS dentists around ED, LondonLogCo, I'm sure any of them would fit you in as a priority case if you have cracked a tooth. Surely more convenient than trekking up to Guys. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26394-cracked-tooth-help/#findComment-587537 Share on other sites

Mrs TP
I don't think they do remedial work at Kings but would just take out the offending tooth. A dentist would consider saving the tooth / repair. You need to phone your local dentists and see what they say about seeing you as a new emergency patient if you want to consider saving the tooth.
