I have just had the 'Green Team' experience for my garden, which wwas looking very sorry for itself after years of virtual neglect, no pruning etc (bunging stuff in pots does not really equate to 'gardening'...). I am absolutely delighted, I now have a fresh, clean garden that looks very happily bedded down and ready to sprint into spring. Worth every penny. Claire and Dermot are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend, and I will be back in touch !

I just wanted to highly recommend the services of Claire and Dermot at The Green Team. I couldn't praise them more for the excellent regular work that they carry out on my garden. I was also extremely impressed by their initial re-design and transformation of my garden when I took them on two years ago. They're very professional but friendly and provide excellent value for money. Call Claire on 07946 728879'

Just to add to this - I rate Claire and Dermot enormously. Since we moved houses last year into a place with a bigger garden we have had them in for a few hours every month to weed, plant, tidy and generally sort out and the garden is transformed. I've got two small children and a full time job, so its been brilliant to have the garden kicked into shape by people who know what they're doing!

Big recommendation.

I'd like to recommend Claire from The Green Team based on her excellent customer service. Claire came promptly and gave us a quote for some work in our garden and was very quick to respond to emails and text messages, plus was great dealing with my tantrum-prone toddler!

Hi Claire,

I've got a fairly big garden and would like someone to help design it in a way that is practical. ie grow vegies, decking, paving etc.

How much do you charge and do you do free quotes? I'm in ED near Sainsburys.

Cheers

Tony

I would certainly like to add my recommendation of the Green Team - Claire and Dermot both do an excellent job - I recently had my back garden paved, a fence replaced and the creation of a couple of raised beds; planting recommendations from Claire. I would also like to point out that I had no qualms about going to work and leaving them to it!!

Claire and Dermot have just finished a pergola and a raised bed in our garden. I'd echo the opinions of others on the EDF - they are lovely to work with and full of ideas and recommendations. Thanks very much guys!

    • Really sorry tohear this - incredibly unlucky and very unusual for both Dulwich and Peckham parks. (I have been a dog owner 12 years and never had any experience of this) what sorts of dogs were they? I’m assuming not the same each time - and did you see the owners? I wonder if there is someone new to the area - will def keep an eye out going forward . I do hope your pup is ok.
    • A number of us are puzzled that the event is not held on the common, this is where events are usually mounted, leaving the more ornamental section of the park free. Again, the objection is not so much to the three day event itself but to the fact that for the sake of three days a large section of the park is taken out of use for weeks, in high summer. There is also significant damage to that section of the park, seriously limiting its use for months. If music venues are closing in London I wonder if this is because they are having to compete with myriad park festivals, of which there has been an explosion.
    • I’m not a Southwark council stooge I’m a city drone working for the man in the square mile… I’ve been an East Dulwich resident from 2007. I lost access to my previous account  my new account is from 2012 as mentioned.  its unbelievably narrow minded to think that there is no local support for the festival. I would say that 8/10 of my local friends do.  OK they/we are the types that like a party. The two that  are mildly annoyed are dog walkers who do moan about having to use the other side of the park… but again they don’t hate it.  I take the point that although only 3 days of noise,  access to the park is restricted for longer but there is another mooosive bit of grass right next to it that people can use … ie the Rye common part of the park.  I feel London’s open spaces should be for everyone EVEN  those that like to listen music and dance in the open air. AND those that want to use it for quiet contemplation.  I would also like to highlight that nightclubs and venues  across UK are under pressure and closing at a shocking rate. A large event like this not only supports the artists playing and the  ‘scene. ’  It also provides traffic and income at local south London venues used for pre and post events/ drinking.  We should all be proud of the musical culture the UK  has to offer  and in particular it’s leading contribution to electronic dance music. There needs to be more  support for the reducing number of venues and events.
    • I'm sorry to hear about your little puppy being bitten. I hope s/he is ok. On another note I would be grateful if people generally don't use the name Karen negatively in posts. This Karen finds it rather hurtful.
