I always have Loads of Goodies for the kids on Halloween.

60-70 kids came last year.

I will not be participating this year.

I am concerned about the amount of Sweeties the children accumulate.

I suppose it does help boost the value my shares in local Dental Treatment.. Lol :)

There was a BBC article on Halloween in light of Covid.

As well as tips for giving treats they had suggestions on alternatives:

Five things to do this Halloween

1. Organise a Halloween treasure hunt within your own household

2. Host a virtual party with themed games and music

3. Watch a scary movie with the family

4. Decorate your own house and organise a spooky trail, avoiding face-to-face contact

5. Try reverse trick or treating by dropping off pre-packed sweets on neighbours' doorsteps

    • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Support from No-Files – A Truly Exceptional Experience I want to extend a huge thank you to Tony at No-Files Estate Agents for his incredible help and unwavering support over the past 10 months. My flat sale was far from straightforward, and I truly don’t think I’d be in my new home today without him. The process was made extremely difficult by solicitors who were unprofessional, unresponsive, and at times, outright rude. They refused to communicate with each other, which caused significant delays and confusion throughout the chain. Tony became the key point of contact between four people in the chain and the other estate agent, constantly stepping in to manage communication and keep things moving. The situation became so complex that all parties were forced to exchange and complete on the same day. Despite all three buyers and sellers having removal vans booked and packed, one solicitor refused to answer calls and only sent a single email at 3:55pm making it impossible for anyone to move that day. This caused unnecessary stress and cost for everyone involved and we all live for weeks with a flat with all my items packed away. To make matters worse, my mortgage offer—along with the offers for others in the chain—was expiring. Solicitors offered no guidance and simply suggested reapplying, with no clear timeline or confidence in the process. Throughout it all, Tony remained calm, communicative, and supportive. He was the only person I could rely on to explain what was happening, keep everyone in the loop, and offer reassurance during moments when I felt completely overwhelmed. His professionalism, dedication, and genuine care made all the difference. I am so grateful I chose No-Files. Although I’m sad to have moved out of the area and may not be able to use them again, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend them. If you're looking for an estate agent who is professional, honest, transparent, and truly goes above and beyond—No-Files and Tony are exactly who you need. Thank you again, Tony — I truly couldn’t have done this without you! May 2025Ā  AndreaĀ
