*Bob*
I don't have enough money to give Kirstie Allsop a run for her money. Great shows though. If I simply must have the basics of thrift, make do and mend outlined to me, I'd definitely like it done by somebody sitting on top of a stack of cash and delivered in plummy tones. katie1997
the only time I caught some of her show was when she was in a cake-baking competition (despite never having made a cake before, OMG THE NAIL BITING SUSPENSE, how will it turn out...etc). well, surprise, she only WON with her crappy cake. couldn't be arsed watching again. reminds me of the nigella-format a bit, 'oh yes, actually seeing as you ask, I DO use a Kitchenaid but a 99p balloon whisk does the job just as well'. well, why not use the balloon whisk then...save yourself ?449.99. womanofdulwich
I really like the candle idea- I expect I will have to go to the big craft place near ikea and stock up? Darling Kirsty was on Womans Hour this morning telling us that these shops make crafts SO much more affordable.
