Try Pearson Glazing, Peckham. Used them for a PVC window mechanism repair recently. Pleasant guys, turned up on time, job done.

Oh, you know, those acrobats-turned-burglars you hear so much about. (To be fair it was adjacent to a flat roof, so my fears weren't completely ridiculous.)

The bedroom in my previous flat had a Juliet balcony and I hated it. Even on the 2nd floor I didn't feel safe leaving balcony doors open during the night in hot weather. Also if you leave inward-opening doors open and it rains heavily your floor will get soaked.

Big watches and huge handbags make you look thinner. Apparently.

I've had it for a few years and haven't had any problems with it. I like the functionality of the box and it was really easy to set up. I have however just downgraded to the most basic package (Freeview + catch-up) because I wasn't using the on-demand content much (I can still watch on-demand content on a pay-as-you-go basis). I'd like to see a better selection of US box-set dramas before I consider upgrading again. If you do subscribe to the whole telephone/broadband/TV package, set yourself a reminder to call them about a month before your contract runs out to make sure that you are still getting the best deal. Select the option for cancellations.

Lots of books to donate - which charity shop?
dukesdenver replied to miss's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Seconded, or stay on the bus to the Trinity Hospice shop on Walworth Road. Several others up that way too. Am often amazed at book prices in charity shops. Surely lower prices = faster turnover = more room for new stock? I went on Saturday. Nice to see it busy with lots of enticing new books on display, but presumably there isn't enough study space as there were people sitting on the floor between the bookshelves which put me off browsing.

There isn't an online option. Don't see why not, if you can do the census and the electoral register in that way. -

James Barber Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > If anyone has a Council Tax problem and been > unable to make useful contact with council > officials please do get in touch. Hi James, I have a problem with the letter I've just received fom Southwark about the Council Tax single person discount review which requires me to sign and return a declaration that I am still entitled to the discount, does not enclose an envelope to return it in and threatens that my discount may be cancelled if I do not return the form within 14 days. Is this genuine or a wind-up of some kind???
