Stolen veg boxes

I received an e-mail from a veg box company that we occasionally use letting us know that they have had a spate of stolen boxes in this postcode over the last week or so. They've have reported it to the police and to Southwark Council as it may have been connected to the refuse collection times. These were their words (don't want to go down the whole slander road ... ). Thought it was worth mentioning as the side gate can be a real treasure trove, i.e. dumping ground for other 'valuables'. Be vigilant my neighbours!

I will admit *forshame* at having nabbed the odd bottle of milk in my wayward youth, probably just kids. I'm sure the fad will pass, I haven't seen any empty VW badges for an aeon.

We had our veg box stolen a couple of weeks ago! It was half term so maybe it was kids with a penchant for organic produce. :)

I cant help thinking that leaving a box full of veggies outside the back door in South London is an invitation for thieves! The locals may have rickets, but they can still waddle away fast enough when they need to.

We had our veg box stolen this week. Fools should have been around 3 weeks ago when there were 3 cases of wine under the hedge. Now having to implement drastic security upgrade (hide veg in recycling box?).

They have been putting mine under a reycycling lid behind the blue crate and its worked so far.....
