28th Sept 2007? Approx 5:00ish. A female? With hair of some colour? Two arms? Two Legs?

A face of some sort? With at least one nose, a mouth and a pair of almost matching ears?

You had a basket if I'm not mistaken. There were groceries in it unless I'm much mistaken. Did some have Sainsbury's logos?

I'm nearly almost positively sure that I might have been somewhere in the same postal district

and I'll be happpy to bear witness to your embarrassment in whatever chamber of the law you choose

to pursue it.

It was a Tuesday, right?

I'm sorry to hear about your terrible fall. I hope the physical injury and psychological damage caused to you will go with time.

I too fell once, in Tescos. Of course, it was my own fault as I was eyeing up the cute guy in the next queue. The embarrassment still lives with me, as I struggled to right myself.

Are you seeking damages? I imagine even a few thousand pound may not heal the trauma you have been through and to such a huge organisation as Sainsbury's, it will hardly dent their huge profits.

I feel for you. I can almost hear the screams in my head now.

Have you considered internet shopping?

Oh that was you,was it? I still laugh about it.

Glad you recovered.

I saw the whole thing. You were pushed. There were three of them, two security guys and the fellow promoting the AA! The kicked you while you were down and were laughing cruelly. Once you got up they rushed up with a 'Wet Floor' sign and pretended it had been there all the time. How much do I get? perjury doesn't come cheap, ask Paul Burrell!

I presume that you (a) took the name and phone number of the 'kind customer' - which sort of seems like a sensible thing to have done. That (b) that you must have got a severe injury - otherwise you wouldn't have needed to 'scream' - therefore there will be records of your injury available to your 'no win no pay' lawyers, and that © you have been in hospital recovering from your injuries for the past 4.5 months, because obviously if this is bona fide it is far more likely that you would have got a response on the 29th September than now.

Or has April Fools Day come early this year?!

Oh, honestly the cynicism of some people. It fair makes a person weep, it really does.

Just as an idle matter of interest and curiosity, having done a First Aid for Workplace type course, Sainsburys would or should have entered the Incident in their Accident Book.

Are they saying it did not happen?

And yes, you lot are mean, but funny. Very funny.

    • interesting the police said "the car was in demand at the moment" what make/model is that?
    • Just be careful to know exactly what they cover and the limits. i use Many Pets and Medivet, as I think one of the vets is exceptionally good. Some of the NHV are, but I’ve had a couple I’ve not liked at all.  I need consistency and to feel that they actually care more about the animals than the money.
    • I haven't used them myself but I noticed recently that "Snoots" in Forest Hill is going unlimited primary care for £33/month, so basically a subscription. Easy access on the 176 from East Dulwich. I have no idea what it includes so read the contract! It's a chain but only 5 branches so not a mega corporate. 🤷‍♂️ https://www.snootsvet.com/find-us
