Your midwife suggested this?! I'm astonished. Here's a good starting point for understanding why. http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2004/sep/23/badscience.science

Re wind - there's some useful advice here on reflux - http://www.babycentre.co.uk/a567208/reflux

For wind infacol can really help, but maybe speak to GP first.

If you search under 'cranial' on here then you'll find other threads with discussion and recommendations regarding cranial (giving you opinion on both sides).

We found it very useful and have used both the OCC (not so local as is in Wandsworth http://occ.uk.com/ ) and Katie Sedgewick (in East Dulwich on Landcroft Road).

Best of luck with your little one.

After having a brain injury at birth, baby is seeing Fabiano da Silva on Barry Road. He's lovely. Really experienced, also practises at the OCC and is very used to neonatal treatments. My little one is really improving (feeding better, more settled etc) under Fabiano's care so I would highly recommend him.

    • You have to use the right extinguisher for the type of fire - water/foam not to be used for live electrical fires for example. A quick Google says powder extinguishers can be used on the most different types of fire. In a public/commercial setting fire extinguishers have to be serviced every year. Not sure the recommendation for residential ones, but when you buy extinguishers and fire blankets check if there's an expiry date.
    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
