Badminton Courts

Does anyone know where you can hire badminton courts by the hour in the area - at one of the schools perhaps?

We have some racquets that aren't getting any use currently!!

jags have courts- but I think you have to be a member-if you are member they are free.

Harris Girls' school (Peckham Rye) for a start

Jags - I can't afford the membership

Crofton Leisure Centre has closed down (according to SE23 forum)

Harris Girl's School only has the badminton clubs, not private booking opportunities

The only one I can think of is Bacon's College Sports Centre in Rotherhithe - I've emailed them.

Can anyone think of any more?

One of the courts in Harris is sometimes rented out to private bookings to my knowledge. On the other hand, the clubs are friendly and you can pay as you go - so give it a try if you can't find a court to rent nearby.

Loads of David Lloyd type places as you go into Bromley

Thornton Heath Leisure Centre and other Fusion places

Park Langley close to Beckenham

Also played at Harris in Crystal Palace

and Bacons

And St Dunstans in Catford

Not sure if they hire out.

They will also have courts at the posh school in Central Hill and Dulwich College.

Thought the Bridge had courts but didn't see anything on their website

'CentRE'. Wow, are you happy now? I typed that message up very fast just before work this morning. Thought I was providing helpful infromation to anyone in the area who, like me, clicked on this thread because they enjoy playing badminton.
