Rather thrillingly, I've just spotted a couple of them wobbling around the park.

Can you rent a unicycle in the park or did they bring their own? Does one need lessons? What are the advantages apart from reduced tyre wear? Is it slightly erotic? How did they meet?

I saw a commuter at Herne Hill station on one. All suited and booted. A bizarre spectacle.

I've seen a unicyclist too, SteveO, cycling down Bellenden Road on occasion.

Runaways from the circus...apparently there's also a couple of dwarves pretending to be schoolboys from Harris, and a bearded lady who hangs around the Gent's loo...
