Forest hill road blocked

Tiny pothole now total roadblock. Nothing gets through.

Still closed and 363/63 on diversion

It?s only the bottom (Northern) block of the road blocked.

One can still access FHR via (eg.) Ryedale and Dovedale.

Looks as if progress is being made I think. Yesterday the hole was full of mains water pumping out, but tonight it's empty.

Don't we know it! No objection to folk using Dovedale as a diversion from Peckham Rye onto FHR but the speed of some of the diverted traffic in a residential street is very alarming. Slow down, even 20mph is too fast along that stretch of road.

Speed is a problem everywhere unfortunately (I am part of ED speedwatch) and diversions don't seem to make a difference.

And of course, Forest Hill Road is a residential road also, having to deal with the ridiculous speeds daily.

According to TfL the 63 and 363 are running through Forest Hill Road again?

Yes all open again now, that small pothole got pretty big by the way and some kind of water leak, it definitely required fixing.
