Yes, they were giving away vouchers in Lordship Lane to spend in the store. I think they were a fiver.

When we went in, there was somebody - apparently from head office - telling customers what wonderful new things there were to buy.

We couldn't see anything that looked either new or wonderful, so we used our vouchers and left 🤣

considering they all seemed completely happy about it, I would say so :-)"

I hope they are all still getting paid...Used to shop at that co-op and more often do little shops at the Forest Hill rd shop. As I became less mobile and had to use both crutches I always found the staff very helpful and happy to ho the extra mile e.g.at The Lordhop lane shop someone wd take my trolley around the corner and pack it into car boot. Hope ths means that they are happy in thier work as treated well.

I'm completely unsurprised that your biggest takeaway from the new fit out of the shop is there's a wet floor sign. I imagine you were only saying you couldn't wait to for the Co-op to reopen just so you can whinge about it.

The new fit out is very nice. Much more spacious at the front of the shop. The rearrangement of the floor seems to have given them more shelf space as there's products there I haven't seen before.

Good effort overall and nice work done by those who carried out the refitting.

Aren?t you whinging about him whinging....? Oh the irony of it all!

    • Going to be really inconvenient for folk to go that way as has been stated.. why not just move to Camberwell which I would assume is abit nearer and better travelling wise or have vets in both places from Lordship Lane Branch.. Must have been massive flood if going to take two months to dry out, electrical tests to make sure all good… From upstairs? Or where?
    • @selector73 Thanks!  Because we want him to be treated by the vets that know him we will have to get to the New X branch because thats where the team are based until LL reopens. Thank you again 🙏
    • There's 1 in camberwell hope that helps
    • Thank you !  We Will find a way to get him to New X because We owe his life to the vets he sees at Lordship Lane branch and they know him (and us) and we prefer the continuity of care because he's an elderly rescue cat who gets extremely anxious even though he's been needing monthly bloods he just never gets used to going and it can be a lengthy process just getting the sample. Can you tell I'm as anxious about the whole thing as he is??😥
