Dulwich Windows Limited aka Jayson Webb

Unfortunately life coaching isn't going to pay for the damage to my house. I used this forum (like you do) to find an honest and competent company. I take responsibility for what I ended up with but if I can stop one person from going through what we have been through then its all been worth it.

Tillie Trotter - I'm glad you find it all hilarious. We used all our savings to get these windows fitted and while Jayson Webb holidayed (with our money), we were left with poorly fitted windows and damage to our house. Despite Jayson Webb's promises to fix nothing happened. We hoped that having windows fitted would save us some money in the long term so thought it was a good investment. So TilleTrotter as you read this while probably sipping your third glass of wine spare a thought for those vulnerable people this company has ripped off.

Mind your business for once Sue. If it is Murray and Jason having a spat as suggested it is hilarious because of what I know. If it's a genuine poster then I'm sorry she/he got burnt but you don't have to be seen as the moral hero of ED all the time. Have a little rest dear;-)

I wouldn't usually comment on these sort of threads on the forum, but i was just searching for Jason/Duwlich Windows number and I was surprised to read all the comments so i thought i should provide my honest feedback.

Jason / Dulwich Windows actually replaced all of the windows (except one) in our house in summer 2012, and i had a good experience.

The price was the best out of the 3-4 companies we looked at, and i am very happy with the quality of the Rehau windows and the quality of the fit.

From memory we paid for the actual windows first after seeing the paperwork, and the remainder on completion of the job.

There was a small delay in the date promised for the fit, which was explained as the fitter that Jason normally used was ill. However the tradesman who did fit the windows was very good, a nice guy and was respectful of our house, keeping everything as clean as you can when replacing windows, tidying up his tools and hoovering at the end of each day. He was flexible in planning the work on each room to suit us as there are 4 adults in the house.

We have since had two separate builders/tradesmen in the house doing jobs, who have commented on the quality of the windows and the fit, and the appearance.

I didn't get the bathroom window done at the time and i wish i had, i have decided it needs replacing now and i have just phoned Jason.

Feel free to look at my previous posts you will see i am a genuine forum user.

Really come on now....you were so happy with the work he provided that you thought you look him up on the forum. I'm suprised he had time to do your windows in the summer of 2012, maybe he did such a great job using the money of the people he scammed. I'm glad you were so happy you posted a comment over a year after completion.

My husband posted a positive comment at the time we got the windows done.

Have you never had a problem with your phone and lost your contacts? Sometimes you need to search for a number in the place where you originally got it from in the first place! As i am at my computer during the day, it was easier to do a quick search than hunt through my files to find the paperwork.

I'm not trying to discredit anything anyone else has said or be inflammatory, i am simply reporting my experience.

You made your point loud and clear several times, and left three posts asking for more comments! I am entitled to express mine without eliciting such a petty response which seems to serve no purpose other than trying to belittle me.

There is reason "I wouldn't usually comment on these sort of threads on the forum" and i think this thread illustrates it perfectly. If there weren't so many posters waiting to for an opportunity to be sarcastic and negative, then normal honest people without some kind of hidden agenda wouldn't be so hesitant to leave a comment and it would be easier to find useful information on the forum.

    • Labour have changed a number of things overnight.   1. VAT on school fees - this has resulted in 25,000 moving until state education. 2. Increasing NICs adding billions to the cost of going to work. 3. Introducing the Employment Rights Bill causing employers to stop hiring. This and item 2 have added 100,000 people to the unemployment scrapheap. These are also causing businesses to relocate further harming the economy. 4. Scrapping all the small boats deterrents meaning 60,000 illegal migrants have arrived in small boats since they were elected. 5. Dishing out huge public sector payroses with no conditions so we have a massively increased payroll and doctors etc arestill going out on strike. 6.changed IHT and non domicile tax rules causing 16,500 millionaires to leave the UK and stop paying any tax here at all forever. 7. Alongside 6, leaving the budget up until an historically late period after the last budget has caused a house price crash, killing the market and decimating government stamp duty receipts. 8. Their profligate borrowing (£100bn extra in just one year) to fund all their lavish promises means the government can now only borrow at the highest ever yields on records. They are more beholden to the bond markets than Liz Truss was. 9. The rate of inflation has doubled under this government. It was a healthy 2% when they came in. For most of the last year, as a result of all of the above it is now nearly 4%.   These are all decisions the Labour government took that have immediate cause and effect.  Its no good harking back to 15 years ago. The current administration was gifted the fastest growing economy in the G7 and within 15 months they have destroyed it.    And things are only going to get worse this winter.
    • I use Autocar Repair in West Dulwich.. been using them for over 20 years. Excellent service…
    • A lot to agree with here - don’t get me started on Irish people complaining about immigration! - but that final paragraph is once again a cop out  there’s a lot of extreme right wing money stirring up the division that people are feeling - but there is zero excuse for handing power to these people. We live in a democracy and if we have enough people willing to give it up then judging those people foolish enough to do so is not only something that will happen, it is something that the rest of us should be morally compelled to do  if someone wouldn’t “normally” vote for a racist party yet somehow will do so because they hear someone like me saying that would be bad, then you better believe I’m judging them
