Southwark council have put their Dulwich Healthy Streets review brochure through letterboxes this weekend.

They say a full public consultation will commence May-July 2021.

If you have an opinion and want to feedback your point of view then register your interest www.Southwark.gov.Uk/dulwichreviewreg or in writing at:

Highways-Dulwich Review, 3rd floor, Hub 2, 160 Tooley Street, London, SE1 2QH.

Just to add, although headed Dulwich Healthy Streets this review also includes the experimental measure at Champion Hill, which wasn't part of the original Dulwich OHS discussion I don't think (and I guess is sort of ED/ Denmark Hill border).

The review area has now been confirmed as going no further east than Lordship Lane so it is a blatant attempt at gerrymandering by the council.

The council will prioritize the responses of those within the review area over those outside it even though you can "have your say".

However, putting pressure on your ward councillors to force them to weight all responses from East Dulwich equally can have a positive impact.

We cannot allow the council to manipulate this review in the same way they did the CPZ consultations.

    • ...and so, 4 years on from the "dramatic planning meeting" that approved the "meganursery", how has it all worked out in reality? The building looks nice from the outside - but I don't know anything more. Did either of the nursery businesses on EDG fail because there was no demand for nursery places in East Dulwich? Did Carmageddon on East Dulwich Grove get worse? Were pre-COVID work patterns abandoned forever (lol)? Were some of the concerns expressed in opposition to the planning application a teensy bit overblown...? https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/southwark/mega-nursery-approved-amid-dramatic-planning-meeting/
    • If I don’t feed the birds, they’ve actually come and perched on the fence and stared directly at me through the window. The squirrels do that too.
    • Reading The words 'Artisan'  and 'Curated' when refering to my 'Breakfast Bundle' frankly make me feel a bit..🤢
    • I would recommend Coopers bakehouse, which offer a similar service to B&C but it’s just focussed on really good bread, decent prices and keeps for ages (also freezes well).  Delivered by bike.
