Barbara Hepworth in Dulwich Park

This morning I had a pang of sad remembrance of the beautiful sculpture that was stolen from the park. Do you think that one day a piece of public sculpture of equal standing will arrive for us to enjoy? I watch the steady collapse of the two spirals of piping that were placed at the top of the park as a replacement and have to note that they are not doing it for me. A competition maybe?

I was also thinking about the old Hepworth the other day when walking through the park. So sad that it was stolen.

Didn't realise the spirals are collapsing - that's not good. For what it's worth, I quite like the sculptures.

Maybe it?s just my eye, rahrahrah, but it seems as though gravity has tugged them a few millimetres lower since they arrived!

I like the spirals, they signify musical notation I believe, but yes I miss the Hepworth, irreplaceable. I wish I had visited it more often...
