I dont know what a granade is - clearly it goes BOOM to little effect.

Throws a GRENADE at Dracula's mother - made of silver and designed to create cross shaped shrapnel.

Settles back to watch the fun.

I do miss Mrs Dobbin, the newbies (aka the Reception Class) wont remember her and will be too busy twittering on about cigar butts and dog poo; but I remember her.

Gathers up 'nads and by the magic of The Quiet Room re-attaches them. Applies VERY BIG plaster.

Collapses is fave chair, roots around in behind the cushion and finds a very ancient copy of Razzle - "Are there you are DM, in your youth on page 5 ....... and pages 6,7, 8 and 9. Before you met James, you needed the money, with a child to support. We understand. You were quite .... flexible back in your youth"

Violence and porn. Kel - this IS the Quiet Room.

Well it's nothing terribly exciting to brag about and certainly I have to watch myself in the presence of my boss in case he goes getting ideas that I'm seeking employment elsewhere blah blah blah... but given as it's my own free time and I'm not offically representing my company but offering my professional skills to such an unorganised company (altho charging for the services) *breathes* do u really wanna know? Do ya? ;-)

    • Well I don’t approve for a shop doing the same food to open so near - just wrong in my opinion. Why not go to the village, Peckham - foot fall would be great in Peckham and certainly more multi  cultural than ED. Village has money but doubt foot fall would be as good as ED.  At least they could have gone to the stretch leading up to Peckham Rye or why not bottom of Barry Road?? Or even North Cross Road I for one, on principal won’t be going in.
    • Heh yeah haven't even bothered to remove the emdash. The OP is AI slop as well.
    • The street directory is on Ancestry and you'll need a subscription to access.  It's reasonably easy to navigate though you have to find the page you're looking for by a combination of trial and error/guesswork.  https://www.ancestry.co.uk/imageviewer/collections/61265/images/47056_263021009499_1592-00159?usePUB=true&_phsrc=Soz1793 There is though also a general search page for London directories where the street name can be entered in the keyword field and results will take you to the specific pages. https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/collections/61265/
