How about an 'East Dulwich Borders' section of the EDF rather than having a separate forum. Peckham is very big and I am not sure there would be the interest to start with.

I live in Nunhead but my heart lies in ED as do most of our friends and my younger kids school. My doctor is in ED as are my dentist and barber. I pass through ED on the way to and back from work.

What happens around the periphery of ED often effects people in Ed and vice versa, whether it be technically Nunhead, Honor Oak, the Village etc.

Seems the logical solution to me. At least it would be easy to trial rather than setting up a completely separate forum.

As a resident Nunheadian, I have only just discovered this section of the forum! As there seems to be lots vocal Nunhead people, I will post the imminent Nunhead Arts Week 09 meeting up here when the date and venue have been confirmed.

Have a look at what happened last year (http://nunheadarts.blog.com/) if you didn't make it to any of the events!

If you enjoyed Nunhead Arts Week 2008, then come along to an open meeting on:

February 12th at 7.30pm, at the Old Nun?s Head Pub.

Do you want to organise an event, volunteer your skills or just find out how we can make Arts Week 2009 even more fun!

All are welcome.

The formal date to submit comments on the PNAAP (Peckham & Nunhead Area Action Plan) is Monday 25 May. But there is an extension, if you can't meet that date.

If you can fill this out please make sure you mention that there is no mention about regeneration in Nunhead, and it needs it.

They will accept them later if, before 25 May, you email . Just let them know when you aim to get your comments to them.

COUNCIL DOCUMENTS for reference:

- Overview of the PNAAP and the process at:

http://www.southwark.gov.uk/futurepeckham

- Download copy of Future Peckham, the Council's report on the Issues

& Options:

The report outlines the Issues & Options that the Council wants your

comments on - are there any missing and what do you think of the

options?

Okay - I would love to have a Nunhead forum. But has nobody noticed people moving into Nunhead who can't afford to live in East Dulwich but still hang out there? Has nobody seen how many East Dulwich kids are being forced into Nunhead schools? And why is it, when I searched for Nunhead forum, google pointed me straight back to East Dulwich.

And why don't Ed'ers want Nunhead issues on this forum? How about you all go to your own park cafe in Dulwich park and leave the Peckham locals to have our new(ish) lovely cafe to ourselves? Oh, wait a minute, that sounds petty and pointless doesn't it!!!

Nunhead Arts Week 2009 runs from 18 - 27 September, with something for everyone: Nunhead Open 6, a children?s show, the infamous urban Green Day, film night, comedy and much more. Credit crunch or no credit crunch, it?s going to be an afforable fun-filled ten day festival. So make sure you walk along to one, two or all of the events.

    • £30-40 for M&S Christmas food for two seems very low! And only £60 for food and drink for 8-10 people?  We have had M&S food at Christmas in the past, and it came to a lot more than that. I suppose it depends exactly what you are buying. We left it late to book a Christmas Day meal out last year, so there weren't many options left.  The Cherry Tree menu looked very nice. That was our first mistake. We also overlooked the fact that it was a Young's pub, with all that implies about the food. That was our second mistake. We don't have shedloads of money. We  took the view that we deserved a nice meal  out after working bloody hard all year. So it was doubly disappointing to basically waste a lot of money which could have been very much better  spent elsewhere.
    • No sweetheart. It is a fantastic sermon which should be shared. It is a rights-based sermon which received a standing ovation - if you can be bothered to get to the end.
    • Welcome back. What have voting intentions got to do with this thread? And much as you may hate the present incarnation of so-called Labour, as do I,  I don't think it is true that they have "not done a single positive thing for working class people", is it? And how exactly are you defining "working class people", anyway?
    • I can’t bear the media “is this racist comment racist” angle taken to reporting it. I feel like she’s a useful out rider for Farage to test how far they can take their rhetoric - it’s not the first time she’s said things that cross over the line. Overt racism is becoming far more commonplace and it’s deeply concerning.
