New to the area and looking to enroll my kids (Age 7.5 & 6) into a football program in the area, ideally if it meets in Peckham Rye Commons? Looking for a fun yet skill-based program or team, boy / girls / mixed is cool with us. Any recommendations or leads? Thanks!

Athenlay run sessions for younger children on a pay and play basis on Saturday mornings recommencing I believe on Sat 11th Sept. These sessions happen in the Athenlay club ground at Homestall Road.

Players need to be registered with the club in advance to participate.

Feel free to PM me for more info if needed.

Soccer Stars Football Academy run sessions on Saturday mornings, as well as during the school holidays. They're based on Peckham Common (parallel to the playground) on Saturdays and take ages 3 upwards. The coaches are very friendly and knowledgeable. 07522 425 931

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
