I know who the SPECIAL comic GUEST will be at PULL THE OTHER ONE on April 10th. If you want to know who it is email me for a private reply OR [email protected] to RESERVE A TICKET . Last club was JOHN HEGLEY final Club on the 24th April will be SIMON MUNNERY . Who will be on the 10th?

Hegley was comic professionalism personified but for me The King of Dysfunctional Doo-Wop was simply superb(Considering he had to adlib for a good 10 mins due to a faulty sound system(given the nature of his act this is probably a regular occurrence)), an Uncle Fester lookalike who looped voice and sound samples in real time to create a stew of nonsense music which was peculiarly funky. Plus there was a penis...which is always good for a laugh. I also found the Compere

pretty sexy(even Though shes probably my Mums age). So, who's the mystery guest?

On MONDAY there wioll be an announcement of the winner of the free ticket to Pull the Other one on Thursday 10th. So all you closet writers pick up your quills and get scratching. I shall print all the reviews that have been received so far at [email protected] some people too shy to be published AND SOME simply not talented enough!!

Hey ! Bon3yard you are the winner!!!not just because of your creative talent...there was no competition. I shant print the reviews because most of them were complaining about the lack of bar service and poor sound for those standing at the back of the room (latecommers!!). It does appear also that although many of you came to see John Hegley you went away with Andrew Bailey in your hearts. I'm afraid Vincent Figgins baffled more than a few of you....he did misbehave a bit last club night and go off the point and repeat himself which I think we are all capable of when performing in front of the in laws which he did mention....uh? why? I thought he was Edwardian, wouldn't all his in laws be dead by now? Also there were quite a few who were afraid of and shocked by the penis. P.S. Pierette Socobaz probably IS your mother and that's why you wrote such a great review...still .....fairs fair you won it fair and square. If you email [email protected] with your name or pseudonim under which you would like to pick up the ticket.

Otherwise it shall be under your email name (which of course anyone could pick up if they got there before you!!) Have fun..be sure to get there before eight.

Toby is wonderful but friends have been to other stylists and colourists there and are very happy. Its a nice enviroment and I like that the team listen to what I want and give good advice too.
    • I am wondering what is normal in terms of the council clearing leaves on East Dulwich streets. I took these photos of the pavement on Whateley Road on 17 December.  It had been like this for a couple of months. When it was wet or icy, the leaves were a slipping hazard.  They also got mushy and were sludgy and unpleasant to walk on. I have seen another street near here with a similar amount of leaves, and there may be others. I saw someone (I assume from the council) clearing away some of the leaves last week. However, there is a leafy brown sludge left on the pavement which is not too nice! Wondering what's normal. If this isn't, does anyone know how to contact the council about it?
