Twirly
There are so many in the area, does anyone have any recommendations please? Experience? Advice? Particularly for the selling of flats. motorbird83
Winkworth are the best I've come across in the area. Many others are fine. I'd go with whichever one has similar properties on their books to what you've got to sell (they'll get you more viewings that way). If any of them have just sold something similar to what you have, that's usually a good bet as they will have disappointed clients waiting in the wings and will really have a good idea on pricing. The only ones I'd say to avoid are Foxtons (their pricing is usually unrealistic and properties sit on their books for ages) and Haart (because I think they are rude and unpleasant to buyers). In this market, any agent should be able to sell your property very quickly. The market is rediculously hot at the moment. Twirly
Thank you motorbird83, that is really helpful. Maybe I'll start off with Winkworths and go from there. gregring
Twirly Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> There are so many in the area, does anyone have> any recommendations please? Experience? Advice?> Particularly for the selling of flats.Hi Twirly. Have you considered an on-line estate agent? My wife and I sold our flat last year with House Network due to lack of funds and extortionate quotes of commission and was over the moon with them. Commission worked out around 0.6% of flat value which saved us a fortune. There are loads of on-line companies out there but found out about House Network on Money Saving Expert. If you're interested this code gets you ann extra 5% off: EHAMYQKTNJ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/29601-estate-agency-recommendations/#findComment-622198 Share on other sites
