I know he has had a ot of positive feeback but I would just like to add to it. Mark Best (best electrics) was prompt, polite and extremely helpful sorting out a crisis I had when moving into a new property. He explained evrything he was doing without being patronising snd was very reasonable. I will definitely have him back to do the other works needed once I am settled. 07547031593.

Mark has just left. He installed a new extractor in the bathroom and fitted two intricate lampshades in the hall. He was really polite, worked quickly, quietly and really knew his stuff. The price was right too. Definitely use him again and have no hesitation in recommending him. His number is 07547031593

I'm putting a second recommendation for mark, after a flood from the above property my electrics were completely out. mark and his workmate lee came out to me on Easter Sunday and repaired the damage and moved the consumer unit and all the wires to a new move convenient spot they did an absolutely first rate job and I'm very pleased.

Yet another recommendation for Mark Best ( BestElectrics on EDF ). He was punctional, reasonably priced, tidy and has very good knowledge (Qualified inspector). He came to fit new lighting and power in my cellar and patio and ended up saving me from a potential horror story left from the previous install, plus he has generously offered to fight my corner with the cowboys who carried it out. Top lad, cant recommended higher.
I would like to join the many other forum users who have recommended mark form best electrician, we use him to complete our loft rewire after our builder was charging well over the odds. he rewired the new loft extension, move the consumer box and tidy up the other electrics in the house, he done a first rate job throughout and was very clear about what he was doing as he went alone. Nice guy, very experience electrician whom i am happy to recommend.

Additional recommendation

After mark and his team successfully re-wired our loft he returned to complete the rewiring of the main part of the property. Like before he done a great job keeping to the budget and working very tidily, keeping us informed of his progress every step of the way.

Very good electrician, mark best (best electricians)

Just to add my experience of Mark Best. He has been very impressive in his patient and detailed response to my queries following his site visit and subsequent quotation for a series of jobs. Curiously, perhaps, we haven't engaged him in the end as we opted for an almost identical quote but from someone with the added reassurance of recommendations from close friends. However, it was a close-run thing and I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark as an electrical contractor worth serious consideration.

Yet another recommendation for Mark Best. He's done extensive work for me recently installing both interior and exterior lights, and spotting a fault with work undertaken by a previous electrician.

Mark is personable, efficient and patiently explains everything in layman?s terms before undertaking any work. Best of all he's very reasonably priced.

If you can ask him about travel to the Philippines and St. Lucia, he's a font of local knowledge!

    • Very happy to add my recommendation for Leon, who has now helped me out twice. Prompt, efficient and helpful.
    • Today we are seeing the impact of increased taxes (employers NI) with tje UK unemployment rate rising  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdxrp7znkdlo Unfortunately, to increase tax burdens will see the economy stall or a recession, as Angelina says, cutting spending, whilst painful short term, is a good way to bring down government borrowing.  True, we don't want to see cuts to services but there are other areas of government spending that can be reduced and with AI impacting all jobs across all businesses, maybe it will also reduce overall staffing costs.
    • or cut costs.  The cost of debt is a huge burden, it cannot be increased.
    • Yes, they should clearly have been more honest on taxes before the election and not backed themselves into a corner. After 14 years of mismanagement and decline, they have to invest and at the same time start to bring borrowing down (otherwise they continues to be at the mercy of the bond markets). Continued cuts / degrading of public services is counter productive (a successful economy and society needs good infrastructure, education and health care).  The single biggest thing they could do to immediately improve growth would be to rejoin the single market, but I appreciate that is difficult politically.  So if you can't significantly boost growth short term, can't cut too much further, and need to raise money without borrowing, that only really leaves taxation.    Of course, where best to target those taxes - that's the real question.
