Thanks for this. I am trying my absolute best to not drive the car I can't afford to replace but am already ?50 in debt to TFL [on Autopay].

*A215 Denmark Hill / A2216 Champion Park

*Peckham Rye/East Dulwich Road

*'Lordship Lane'...not sure which bit as they try not to show you more than your registration plate. [two lanes, then an unbroken white line with red route double lines on opposite side if there is any detectives out there...]

By the junction with the south circular. The photos on my account show me next to a car with the driver on his mobile!!

Which side? The East Dulwich side as you wait to turn right on the south circular towards Dulwich Park?

Would it pick you up if you were coming from the Forest Hill direction and turning left?

Asking for a friend 🤣

No this is southbound exiting Dulwich, I presume there is another one on the other side focussed on cars entering Dulwich. The south circular is outside the ULEZ so you can drive along it and not pay the charge if you come from outside.

There is a camera at the South Circular end of Underhill Road.

As I sadly found when I tried to return from my allotment that way!

So having nurtured my Christmas tree all year, it has cost me ?12.50 to bring it home, and will cost me another ?12.50 to take it back :(

Unless I can find another route ......

I've seen numerous cameras on the boundary roads on the South and North Circulars. If you drive into the CC zone they will no doubt pick you up and charge you for both. How do people know which camera they have gone through? I didn't think TfL gave you that level of detail.

We bought a small tree from Lidl a few years ago, it slowly gets bigger in the garden and comes back in, in December. Got fed up on the waste of buying new ones each year and the same old story from those selling them about the great Xmas tree shortage.

    • This week's edition of The Briefing Room I found really useful and impressively informative on the training aspect.  David Aaronovitch has come a long way since his University Challenge day. 😉  It's available to hear online or download as mp3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002n7wv In a few days time resident doctors -who used to be known as junior doctors - were meant to be going on strike. This would be the 14th strike by the doctors’ union since March 2023. The ostensible reason was pay but now the dispute may be over without more increases to salary levels. The Government has instead made an offer to do something about the other big issue for early career doctors - working conditions and specialist training places. David Aaronovitch and guests discuss what's going on and ask what the problem is with the way we in Britain train our doctors? Guests: Hugh Pym, BBC Health Editor Sir Andrew Goddard, Consultant Gastroenterologist Professor Martin McKee, Professor of European Public Health, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Mark Dayan, Policy Analyst, Nuffield Trust. Presenter: David Aaronovitch Producers: Caroline Bayley, Kirsteen Knight, Cordelia Hemming Production Co-ordinator: Maria Ogundele Sound Engineers: Michael Regaard, Gareth Jones Editor: Richard Vadon
    • That was one that the BBC seem to have lost track of.  But they do still have quite a few. These are some in their 60s archive. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0028zp6
