Apologies for the poor turnout of stalls at the market at the weekend.

Three confirmed stall-holders baled out without informing us, leaving us embarrassed with no back-up plan. We moved two stalls into the shop to escape the bitter cold and actually had a good day after a slow start, but not what we had planned. The previous week was pretty busy with 4 stalls outside and a reasonable turnout despite the sleet!

We will be re-trying in future weeks, Easter has been memorably quiet this year.

We'll keep you posted.

Lou.

    • If people have to let loud fireworks off then why do it late at night? That’s the bit I don’t understand. I heard them up until gone 11pm last night. Really feel for the wildlife as well as for people who have to be up early for work.

    • Ah, so it’s not the Lib Dems’ fault for enabling the vicious austerity policies of Cameron and Osborne by getting into bed with the tories? The state we are in is entirely traceable to the coalition years and the Lib Dems should be damned for all time for what you did in 2010-15.
    • Not been cynical, I'd say he can't stand for a party which has moved so far to the right it has come to represent things he does not believe in. Quite apart from what happened to him personally, which was disgraceful.
